Headed to the UK!

Previewing my UK 2024 Diary

Hello Substack subscribers and followers!

Big news on the personal front is that my family is headed to the UK. We are taking a vacation (“holiday" as is said in England) for three weeks!

The reason is both to take a significant vacation as a family, and also for Twyla, our eldest, to again participate in an Icon painting workshop taught by her teacher, Aidan Hart. The icon she will be starting is of Saint Peter, as pictured here:

Our basic itinerary is:

4 Sept. arrive in Manchester
4-8 Sept. in Edinburgh, Scotland
8-10 Sept. in London
10-20 Sept. in Shropshire
20-24 Sept. in Northampton
24-25 Sept. in Manchester
25 Sept. depart for Orlando

There will be many day-trips once we arrive in Shropshire, including to Oxford, the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham, and more.

I will be keeping a diary of sorts here on Substack during this adventure, but it will only be fully readable by paid subscribers.
