"My dad went to the same seminary as the Pope??!!!"

This was my daughter Isadora's reaction on social media to the new Pope. She grabbed a portion of his page on Wikipedia, found here.

And, yes, is true: one of my seminary degrees is from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago, my degree being awarded in 2014, thirty-two years after the new Pope got his degree.

Pretty cool to have attended the same seminary as the Pope, I have to admit!

May his time in office be fruitful and richly blessed, and through his faithfulness, may imaginations across the world be captured by the person of Jesus Christ. Amen.
